Delete your account
For the Habitaap app on Google Play (com.habitaap) · Last updated: 7 November 2026
You can delete your Habitaap account and all of the data linked to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1: In the app (immediate)
- Open Habitaap and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and tap Edit (Personal info).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Type habitaap to confirm, then confirm with your password or Google account.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Option 2: By email (if you can't use the app)
Send an email to contact@habitaap.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Habitaap account". We may reply to confirm the request comes from you. Your account will be deleted within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account: email address, display name, Google account link and password hash.
- Every sign-in session, on every device.
- All your habits, check-ins, durations and notes.
- Challenges you created (including other participants' copies of their habits) and your participation in challenges you joined.
- Your achievements and records of messages sent through the app.
- The cached copy and scheduled reminders on the device you delete from.
What we keep, and for how long
- Nothing linked to you is kept after deletion. Copies in our backend provider's backups are removed when those backups expire.
- Crash reports never contained your name, email or account ID, so they are not linked to your account. They expire on their own under our crash reporting provider's retention period.
- Emails you sent us (for example a support or deletion request) stay in our inbox only as long as needed to handle the request.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. To remove only some of your data and keep your account, see Delete your data. Questions? See our privacy policy or contact support.
