Delete your data
For the Habitaap app on Google Play (com.habitaap) · Last updated: 7 November 2026
You can delete some or all of your Habitaap data and keep your account. Most of it you can delete yourself in the app, straight away. For anything else, send us a request.
Want to delete everything, including your account? See Delete your account.
Delete it yourself in the app (immediate)
- A single check-in: on the Today tab, tap a checked habit to un-check it. Use the arrow next to "Today" to go back up to 7 days. The check-in, its time, duration and note are deleted.
- A habit and its whole history: on the Habits tab, open the habit and tap Delete habit. The habit and every check-in, duration and note for it are deleted.
- A challenge you created: open it, tap Edit, then Delete challenge. The challenge, its challenge-only habits and their check-ins are deleted, including other participants' copies.
- A challenge you joined: open it and tap Leave challenge. Your copies of its habits and your check-ins on them are deleted, and other participants no longer see you.
- Your display name: go to Profile → Edit, clear the name and save.
- Reminders: open a habit and clear its reminder time. To remove data stored only on your phone (the offline copy and scheduled reminders), sign out.
Ask us to delete it
For anything you can't delete in the app, such as your unlocked achievements or the record of messages you sent us, email contact@habitaap.com from the address on your account and tell us what to delete. We may reply to confirm the request comes from you, and we will complete it within 30 days.
What is kept
- Your account (email address, sign-in method and password hash) stays so you can keep signing in. To remove it too, delete your account.
- Deleted data is removed from our servers right away. Copies in our backend provider's backups are removed when those backups expire.
- Crash reports never contain your name, email, account ID or habits, so they aren't linked to you. They expire on their own under our crash reporting provider's retention period.
